On the agenda today is to finish a few more layout classes, one will be an exclusive for the Mom & Me Crop coming the end of January.
Can't believe I've been up since 7am designing my new layout class for the January retreat. I haven't played much with our White Pines Holiday paper so I was giddy with excitement to throw something together. This great layout will be easy to assemble and has limited stamping. A Sign up sheet will be available on Thursday for the class. I'll have a limit of 12 spots so sign up early. Let me know if this sneak peak has you sold on the class and I'll put your name down on the list. There's still so many things to accomplish today. First and foremost is to clean the mess I've created. Paper is strung all over the place that really needs to be sorted out before I start one more project.

I've been hard at work redoing some of my favorite classes from 2015. Heading back in time to Scrap-away in February where I taught this delightful class using Snowhaven paper in a non-holiday/non-snowy way. The pattern paper was a perfect back drop for some family pics of love ones on Valentines or any day.
I totally forgot how much stamping was involved in this layout. I've made 6 pre-cut kits today stamping 42 petite hearts clusters, 24 large hearts, 6 family trees, and 6 saying. Lucky for me, and my peeps who buy this kit, the cameo cut out all the hearts so no one will need to fussy cut. I've also used the cameo to cut out the LOVE letters out of black. This paper is no longer available so make sure to let me know if you want the kit. Another cute layout class offered this past September was the Sugar, Spice & Everything Nice using Zoe. Using our beautiful Zoe paper, shimmer trim and the cute as a button Baby Zoe stamp set, this layout is just perfect to feature your little angels. So excited to announce that this layout kit will be available until the end of our current catalog. I'll have 4 kits available for immediate sale at Scrap-away and will take orders if I run out.
Wow, finished two of a million projects already!!! Yeah!
Next up is a cute a can be Halloween layout kit which first made it's debut at the September Scrap-away Retreat. This kit uses Nevermore paper and comes with tons of die-cuts. Only 4 kits are left so get them while they're hot!!! Playing on yesterdays theme of summer fun and warm weather, I started today by recreating some of my favorite layout classes from the past year to sell as kits. These are limited quantities so get them while you can.
First one completed today is by far one of my favorite classes. I taught a technique of using embossing powder and simple craft card stock to make a patterned paper that really stood out on the page. We used the shells from the Treasured friendship stamp set and the fence from Seaside Greetings. This kit comes fully cut out and all the embossing and stamping is pre-done. Just assemble and glue and its ready to hold your summer memories. The kit are $12.00 each. I have only 5 layouts left. Next on the agenda today is a Hauntingly good layout. I'm prepping now to see how many I can create and will post more in a short while. Can't tell everyone how excited I am to have 5 full days to create. So many projects have piled up that it's almost hard to find a place to start. First on my list, a card to beat the dull-drums of winter. It had to be something that would make you think of warm breezes of summer. Maybe using our brand new Thin-cuts and stamp sets available in January. Come play with me at Scrap-away January 7th-10th in Mystic to make a bright and sunny card. Here's a sneak peak. My list is mile long and 5 days will pass by way to fast. I've got layouts to design and die-cuts galore to think up. Do you have a great idea for die-cuts, shot me a quick email, text or Facebook message. I'd love to hear from anyone attend Scrap-away in January. Also, if you are interested in placing your die-cut order before the retreat, now is the perfect time to do so.
I can't tell you how excited I am to play with the three new paper collections from CTMH called Regata, Penelope and Charlotte. These papers and the new Seasonal Expression catalogs will be available starting January 1st. I'm hard at working creating some custom layouts that will charm your socks off.
I'm also really excited to have the week between Christmas and New Years off. This means I'll have so much time to devote to scrapping and die-cutting. I'll try and post daily and if I don't, please shoot me a quick text or facebook me. Did I forget to mention that one of the new paper packs is nautical and has 2 really cool stamp sets that have lighthouses, anchors, paper boats and THIN CUTS!!! Yep, I said THIN CUTS. My life just got so much easier, bye, bye, fussy cutting. If you've never used THIN CUTS, come to Scrap-away on January 7th - 10th in Mystic, CT. I'll be offering a class using this new product. Took some much needed time off from scrapping after my last retreat. On die-cut overload for a while.
I'm back with some more designs. Thank you everyone that did the surveys at Scrap-away. I took all your feed back and started working towards creating more titles and sports themed items. Coming soon I'll also be carrying 12" borders and larger titles. Keep the feedback coming, my goal is to have a sampling of products that cater to everyone. Tonight I'm cropping at Sterling House in Stratford. Donna Kelly cooked up the most delicious stuff shells and her desserts are to die for. If you haven't attended one of her monthly crops, you must put it on your calendar. Here are my newbies that will be available in Mystic at the January Scrap-away crop. Hope to see everyone there! |
